This Privacy Policy explains what information TNT Holley, Inc. (“RapWarz”, “we”, “us”) collects through the RapWarz mobile apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. RapWarz is a hip-hop app with trivia, live one-on-one video rap battles with audience voting, group cyphers, recorded replays, artist news, and leaderboards. It contains mature rap lyrics and themes and is not directed to children under 13 (the app is rated 17+ in the stores). Questions: [email protected].
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up with email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In, we store your display name/handle, avatar image (uploaded or imported from your Google/Apple profile), email, and gameplay stats and rankings. We never receive your Google or Apple password.
User-generated content. RapWarz is social: we collect and process the content you create and the actions you take — live audio/video from battles and cyphers (streamed via LiveKit/WebRTC), recorded replays (VODs), votes, chosen handles/avatars, and Tips you send or receive.
Usage and device information. We automatically collect device type and OS, app version, in-app activity, performance data, and crash/error diagnostics, and we process a push-notification token.
Payment information. Premium subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and managed via RevenueCat, which shares subscription status with us. Tips are processed by Stripe. We do NOT store full card numbers.
Advertising and tracking. For non-premium users, Google AdMob may use advertising identifiers and related ad-interaction data, subject to your consent (see “Advertising & Your Choices”).
2. How We Use Your Information
To create and secure your account; to run core features (matching/hosting live battles and cyphers, recording and serving replays, voting, leaderboards, trivia, and news); to process subscriptions and Tips; to review reports, moderate content, and enforce our Terms; to send notifications; to diagnose crashes and improve reliability; to serve and measure ads to non-premium users per your consent; and to comply with law and protect our users and RapWarz.
3. How Your Information Is Shared
Publicly in the app. By design, your handle, avatar, the battles/cyphers you take part in, your votes (where applicable), and your rankings are visible to others. Live content may be watched by an audience, and replays may be shared — some are published to YouTube and may be publicly viewable outside the app. Keep this in mind in what you say and show on camera.
Service providers. We share data with providers that perform services for us, each only as needed: Google (authentication + AdMob ads), Apple (authentication + subscription billing), Stripe (Tips), RevenueCat (subscription management), LiveKit + Cloudflare (live video and replay storage/delivery), YouTube (some published replays), Sentry (crash/error diagnostics), and Expo (push notifications).
Legal & safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect users, the public, or RapWarz, and in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except as controlled by your tracking/consent choices.
4. Advertising & Your Choices
Google AdMob shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads to non-premium users. On iOS we ask permission through App Tracking Transparency; if you decline (or decline GDPR consent), you are shown only non-personalized ads. You can change tracking/personalization anytime in device settings. RapWarz Premium subscribers see no ads.
5. Data Retention
We keep account information while your account is active, and content until you or we remove it (note replays published to YouTube are also subject to YouTube’s retention). We keep certain records — such as subscription/Tip transactions and safety/abuse reports — longer where needed for legal, accounting, or safety reasons. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your data except where we must retain it.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information — we do not sell your personal data. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Account deletion. You can delete your account and associated data anytime in the app: Account Settings → Delete Account. You can also request deletion at rapwarz.tech/delete-account or by emailing [email protected]. To exercise any other right, contact [email protected]; we may verify your identity first.
RapWarz is rated 17+ and contains mature rap lyrics and themes. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
8. Security & International Transfers
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit; no system is 100% secure. RapWarz is operated from the United States, and our providers may process information in the U.S. and other countries, using appropriate safeguards where required.
